3 1/2 lbs short ribs, boneless
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup beef broth
1 cup Kalbi/Bulgogi marinade
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Set the Instant Pot on Saute - High
Add oil to the inner pot
Season both sides of the short ribs with salt and pepper
Sear the short ribs on each side for 3 minutes or until browned (Take the time to brown each side to maximize flavor)
Remove the short ribs from the inner pot and set aside
Add the beef broth and Kalbi/Bulgogi marinade
Stir and scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the pot into the sauce
Add the short ribs back into the pot and apply the pressure cook lid
Pressure cook on HIGH for 36 minutes
Allow the short ribs to naturally release for 10 minutes
After 10 minutes, manually release any remaining pressure
Remove the short ribs from the inner pot and set aside
Set the Instant Pot to Saute - High
Simmer and reduce the sauce until it can coat the back of a spoon or it reaches desired consistency

I Don't Have A Pressure Cooker, Can I Use a Slow Cooker?
Yes, you can easily adapt this recipe to cook the short ribs in your slow cooker. Just add the short ribs and Kalbi marinade and set the slow cooker on low for about 6-7 hours, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
What If I Can't Find Kalbi/Bulgogi Marinade?
No worries, you can use store-bought Teriyaki Sauce and they will turn out just fine. We used a store-bought sauce in this recipe to save time. However, if you want to make the Kalbi sauce from scratch that's fine too!
What Do You Serve With Korean Short Ribs?
Korean short ribs pair well with a variety of dishes. We like to serve these juicy and tender Korean short ribs with white rice, quinoa, brown rice, and kimchi. Enjoy it as a sandwich with shrimp in a steamed Chinese bao (like in the photo below) or serve it with a fried egg over Cauliflower Fried Rice.

- If you do not have Kalbi or Bulgogi marinade in your local grocery store you can use teriyaki sauce instead
