Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings
Honey Sriracha chicken wings are the ultimate sweet, savory and spicy game day appetizer or weeknight dinner. These crispy delicious wings are first air fried using minimal oil creating chicken meat with a moist interior and crispy texture. Then the wings are coated in rich honey Sriracha sauce made with a combination of honey, soy and oyster sauce, and Sriracha.
Made entirely in the Ninja Foodi, this simple one-pot meal can be ready in minutes. No need to turn on the oven, deep fryer or stove, this multi-functional pressure cooker can make everything using just the inner pot and the Cook & Crisp air fry basket. It makes preparation and cooking super easy and best of all clean-up is a breeze.
What is Sriracha made of?
Sriracha hot chili sauce is made with sun-ripened chilies ground into a paste and mixed with garlic, sugar vinegar, and salt. The chili sauce on its own packs a lot of heat however when combined with the honey, soy and oyster sauce, it strikes the perfect balance of sweet, spicy and savory.
What if I don't have a Ninja Foodi?
We used the Ninja Foodi pressure cooker to make this recipe as this multi-functional cooker can air fry the chicken wings and also has a saute function to make the honey Sriracha sauce all in one pot. This recipe can also be made using the Instant Pot Duo Crisp as this pressure cooker also has the ability to air fry and saute using the same one-pot method. If you don't have an air fryer, you can make the chicken wings in the oven. Simply place the chicken wings on a sheet pan and bake in the oven at 400ºF for 20 minutes (be sure to flip them over mid-way through). You can make the honey Sriracha sauce in a separate saute pan on the stove and toss the baked chicken wings into the pan to coat them in the sauce.
